Privacy Policy

The short version

Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Whatever you type, paste or upload is processed on your own device and is never transmitted anywhere. There are no user accounts, no tracking cookies, and no analytics script on this site at all — that isn't a setting that's turned off, there is simply no such code present to turn on.

The two exceptions, and exactly what they do

QR Code Generator — The QR image is rendered on our server from the data you enter, then sent back to your browser — it is not stored, logged, or used for anything else.

What Is My IP Address — Your IP address is visible to this server because that is how the web works — showing it to you is the whole point. It is not logged. To turn it into a location it is sent to ip-api.com, our geolocation provider, and the answer is cached for an hour; nothing else about you is sent, and lookups of private addresses are never forwarded.

Every other tool's own page states the same thing in its "Privacy" note at the bottom, specific to what that tool actually does — worth checking if you're relying on a specific one.

What we don't have

No accounts or sign-up, anywhere on the site. No tracking or analytics cookies. No third-party advertising or ad-tracking scripts. No fonts, scripts or images loaded from a third-party CDN — the one exception is the optional OpenStreetMap embed on the IP address page, which only loads if you click to reveal it.

Standard web server logs

Like effectively every website, the server that serves these pages may keep a short-lived technical access log — IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser type — for security and operational purposes such as detecting abuse. This is separate from, and unrelated to, what any individual tool does with the data you type into it; it's the same baseline logging any web server does before your request ever reaches this site's own code.

Changes to this policy

If what a tool does with your data changes, this page and that tool's own "Privacy" note are updated together, not just one of them.
